Today, our college witnessed the defense of the first master's thesis in the Department of Oral Surgery, a scientific achievement that reflects the college's academic and research development.
This success is the culmination of a journey that began in 2022, when the Master's program in Oral Surgery was established through the dedicated and commendable efforts of the esteemed Professor Dr. Kamal Turki Al-Kubaisi, the former Dean of the College, and with the continued support of the President of Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida.
The college's progress has continued under the leadership of its current Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khader Al-Rawi, who has worked to support scientific programs and enhance the college's academic and research standing.
In the first defense of the oral surgery student, Salem Khalaf Salloum, for his thesis entitled "Diode Laser Versus Surgical Approach for Exposure Anterior Teeth," the University President honored us with his presence. He praised the meticulous organization and high academic level of the session. The defense committee recommended acceptance of the thesis, appreciating the efforts of the student and his supervisors in completing this scientific research.
The University President also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the presence of Professor Thaer Abdul Latif Hassan, President of the Iraqi Council for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, who chaired the discussion committee.
