University uniform instructions

University Dress Code Guidelines for the Academic Year 2025-2026

First: University students are required to wear appropriate university attire for the campus and for university students, as follows:

a. Tight and short clothing is prohibited. Modesty, public decency, societal norms, and university dress code must be observed. Accessories are prohibited for both genders, and heavy makeup is prohibited.

b. The dress code for male students and its colors are as follows:

- Shirt: White, light blue, black, gray, beige.

- Jacket: Navy, black, gray, dark brown.

- Trousers: Navy, black, gray.

c. The student uniform and its colors are as follows:

- Shirt and skirt: Shirt colors must be (white, light blue, black, gray, beige), and skirt colors must be (navy blue, black, gray).

- Jacket: Navy blue, black, gray, dark brown.

- Dress: Navy blue, black, gray, dark brown.

- Head covering (scarf or headscarf): White, black, gray.

- Dresses are not permitted.

- Pants are not permitted for female students, but modest, loose-fitting culottes are allowed.

B. No writing or patterns are permitted on the uniform for either gender.

C. Color combinations are prohibited; colors must be solid.

D. Head coverings must be either a shawl or a headscarf.

(c) Students are prohibited from wearing jeans (male and female).

(d) College deans are authorized to handle and monitor dress code violations.

Second: Student dress code for final and mid-term exams in the College of Pharmacy: All students are required to wear the following dress code:

(a) Male students:

- White shirt and black or gray trousers.

(b) Female students:

- White shirt.

- Black or gray skirt.

- Black, gray, navy, or dark brown robe.

- Head covering (shawl or headscarf): White.

Third: The above decision applies to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Fourth: The pledge signed by first-year students must include a clause committing them to adhering to the university dress code.

Fifth: Instructors are obligated to prevent students not wearing the uniform from entering classrooms.

Sixth: Changing uniforms is prohibited for all students (male and female) on campus. Students found to be in violation will be subject to disciplinary action.
