A lecture entitled (Violence against children and its psychological and social repercussions)
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khader Al-Rawi, the Continuing Education Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit, held an awareness lecture today, Tuesday, entitled:
(Violence against Children and Its Psychological and Social Consequences)
Presented by Professor Dr. Saada Hamdi Suwaidan, the lecture highlighted the types of violence, particularly sexual violence, and its long-term psychological and physical effects on children, emphasizing the need to raise community awareness of these sensitive issues. The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees and opened the door to meaningful discussions on preventative measures and appropriate procedures for protecting children.
