A scientific workshop entitled “Choosing the appropriate statistical test for medical research, with some practical applications”
On Monday, April 21, 2025, the College of Dentistry held a scientific workshop entitled "Choosing the Appropriate Statistical Test for Medical Research, with Some Practical Applications." The workshop was presented by Asst. Dr. Bassam Abdul Razzaq Abdul Wahab Al-Shaikhli.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of the most important criteria for selecting the appropriate statistical test based on the type of data and study design. It also clarified the differences between the most prominent statistical tests used in medical research. Practical examples and applications were also presented to facilitate understanding of the mechanism for making the correct statistical decision.
The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and graduate students.
