A delegation from the College of Dentistry at Anbar University visits its counterpart at the University of Monastir in Tunisi

 Within the framework of activating the Memorandum of Understanding, a delegation from the College of Dentistry at the University of Anbar visits its counterpart at the University of Monastir in Tunisia. In implementation of the directives of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nida, and within the framework of strengthening scientific relations and activating international memoranda of understanding, a delegation from the College of Dentistry at the University of Anbar, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khader Abdul Jalil, Dean of the College, visited the College of Dentistry at the University of Monastir in the Republic of Tunisia. The visit aimed to enhance academic cooperation and activate the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities. The visit included an expanded meeting during which a number of agreements were reached that represent practical steps towards activating scientific cooperation between the two sides, the most important of which is launching an initiative to form joint research teams between the faculty members of the two colleges, exchanging lists of research specializations, opening effective communication channels to initiate joint scientific projects that address the needs of the academic and health reality in both countries, and the participation of faculty members from the University of Monastir in the educational process for students of the College of Dentistry at the University of Anbar as a visiting professor, which contributes to diversifying educational experiences and providing academic curricula with new horizons. In addition, professors from the University of Monastir will be involved in supervising final-year student research at Anbar University, activating secondary supervision of Anbar University professors for master's and doctoral theses at the University of Monastir, and establishing a student exchange program that enables students to experience distinguished academic and training experiences outside their home countries. Furthermore, joint student cultural clubs will be established, focusing on the exchange of language skills in English and French, and creating spaces for cultural and social understanding between students from both universities.

The two sides praised the positive and highly professional atmosphere of cooperation that characterized the meetings and emphasized the need to transform these understandings into practical, implementable programs in the near future.
The President of Anbar University commended this visit, appreciating the efforts of the College of Dentistry at Anbar University in this direction, strengthening its academic presence on the international stage, and expanding its network of partnerships, which will benefit its students and faculty and contribute to advancing the level of education and scientific research in the field of dentistry.
