Announcement to purchase a medical waste shredder with an autoclave
The College of Dentistry announces its desire to purchase a medical waste shredder with an autoclave attachment, according to the required technical specifications as follows:
1. A single-tub medical waste shredder with a capacity of 1.5 kW, operating on a single-phase electrical source, with a working rate ranging from 50 to 100 kg per hour.
2. Origin: China or any other approved source.
3. Dual-axis cutting blade, with a blade diameter of no less than 170 mm and a rotation speed of no less than 15 revolutions per minute (RPM).
4. A minimum of 10 cutting knives, with a thickness of no less than 15 mm.
5. Waste inlet dimensions: 300 mm length x 280 mm width.
6. Shredding basin dimensions: 320 mm length x 160 mm width.
7. Overall dimensions of the unit: (760 mm length x 650 mm width x 1250 mm height), with a minimum weight of 450 kg.
8. Steam autoclave with a capacity of 100 liters.
Companies or specialized entities wishing to supply the unit should submit their technical and financial bids, in accordance with the required conditions, within a period of 5/20/2025 from the date of publication of the announcement until June 1, 2025.
